Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a precision exfoliation treatment designed to renew the skin naturally. By removing surface debris and vellus hair, this treatment supports healthy skin turnover, improves tone and texture and promotes a luminous glow. Skin is left soft, smooth and more receptive to nourishing treatments and home care.

Dermaplaning may not be suitable for guests who have any of the following conditions:

  • Active acne or inflamed breakouts

  • Open lesions, cuts or compromised skin

  • Active cold sores or herpes simplex

  • Skin infections, rashes or dermatitis

  • Rosacea (moderate to severe)

  • Eczema or psoriasis in the treatment area

  • Recent chemical peels, laser treatments, or microneedling (within 2–4 weeks)

  • Use of Accutane within the past 6–12 months (physician clearance required)

  • Use of topical retinoids (Retinol, Tretinoin, Differin) within 5–7 days prior to treatment

  • Pregnancy with highly sensitized skin (consultation recommended)

A thorough consultation will be completed prior to treatment to ensure dermaplaning is safe and appropriate for your skin. If dermaplaning is not recommended, alternative exfoliation options will be suggested.
